1. Introduction & acceptance
Welcome to AI Quick Translate (the "App"), operated by AI Quick Translate (malik.co) ("we", "us", "our"). The App provides AI-powered text, voice, document, audio, and image translation, plus AI document summarization, on Android devices.
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. Use of the App
The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any party.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or AI models of the App.
- Interfere with the App's operation, security, or other users' use of it.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App or its backend services.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App or its output without our prior written consent.
3. User accounts
Some features may require you to sign in (for example, with Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Intellectual property
The App, its design, code, branding, and content (excluding content you submit) are owned by AI Quick Translate (malik.co) or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal purposes, subject to these Terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any text, audio, documents, or images you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the requested translation, transcription, OCR, or summarization. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and your original files are deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing — see our Privacy Policy for details.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have all rights necessary to submit it for processing.
6. Subscriptions, points & payments
Subscription plans
The App offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions (collectively, the "Premium" tier), which remove ads and may unlock additional usage limits. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing.
Auto-renewal & cancellation
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through Google Play (Account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or via the in-app menu. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for the unused portion of that period, except where required by law.
Points / credits
The App uses an in-app points (credit) system to meter certain operations such as image translation, audio translation, and document processing. Points may be replenished via daily resets, by watching rewarded ads, or via subscription. Points have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Promotional codes
We may from time to time offer promotional codes that grant discounts, additional points, or trial access. These codes are subject to specific terms, may be time-limited, and may be revoked or modified at our discretion.
Payment processing
All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not directly handle, store, or have access to your payment card details. Refunds for accidental purchases must be requested through Google Play.
7. Advertising
The free tier of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, including interstitial and rewarded formats. By using the free tier you consent to receiving advertising. You can remove ads by purchasing a subscription.
8. Third-party services
The App integrates third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, Microsoft Clarity, our AI translation backend, and others). Your use of those services through the App may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App and all translations, transcriptions, OCR results, and summaries it produces are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or inappropriate content. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that its output will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Quick Translate (malik.co) and its operators, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App or its output — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 10.
11. Legal use of translated output
Translations and summaries produced by the App are intended for informational, personal, and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for certified human translation and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for legal, medical, financial, immigration, contractual, or other consequential decisions, nor used as evidence in legal proceedings. For any binding or high-stakes use, please consult a qualified human translator and the appropriate professional.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AI Quick Translate (malik.co) is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
